Designed for easy installation in long or short bed import or domestic pickups, the CMF
units offer an economical alternative to specialized fresh or frozen delivery trucks.
These packages combine the fuel efficiency, maneuverability and versatility of a standard
pickup with a rugged, high quality, insulated, refrigerated fiberglass body. Removable,
these slip-in units can be removed anytime the pickup is needed for other uses.
A standard CMF mini-reefer unit for a Nissan or Toyota short bed or long bed delivers about 109 cubic feet of cargo area chilled by a Tecumseh or Copeland air-cooled condensing unit with holding plates. The system, which does not require a truck engine driven compressor, is charged overnight with a standard 115v or 220v 50 or 60 cycle plug in. The pull down temperature is approximately +10ºF and over the course of a usual delivery day the temperature -will hold in a-range of 32ºF to 38ºF. Temperature recorders and -20ºF units are also available. Units can be purchased or leased and shipped to your door.
